Mary Elaine Frazier, 90, Millersburg, passed away at 5:38 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2019, at her residence. She was born on March 1, 1929, in Syracuse, to Lester O. and Clara (Burson) Sawyer.

She was a lifetime Millersburg resident and attended school in Syracuse. She was married on April 10, 1954, to Lawrence W. “Doc” Frazier, who survives. She was a homemaker for most of her life.

She is survived by her husband; four daughters: Darlene (Steve) Treat, Goshen; Karen (Ron) Butler, Debra (Greg) Long, and Joyce Frazier, all of Millersburg; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and six great-grat grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Lawrence Frazier; five sisters: Evelyn Wolfinger, Ruth Sindel, Carol Speicher, Doris Randolph, and Linda Woodward; six brothers: Marion Sawyer, Carl Sawyer, Robert Sawyer, James Sawyer, Frank Sawyer, and Arthur Sawyer

Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN 46567. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will take place in the Syracuse Cemetery.
