The event, which includes a 50-50 raffle, pull-tab drawings for a commemorative signed Bears football and tickets to a June 8 Cubs home game against the Cardinals, is intended to help defray travel expenses for Jesse Espinoza and Hailey Tompkins of Nappanee, whose 11-month-old daughter, Clarke, is in a hospital in Cincinnati.

“She was born with severe birth defects and was in the hospital the first six months of her life,” said Marie Kinney, who is coordinating the event. “She has multiple surgeries and we almost lost her twice. She is still not eating; she’s on a feeding tube. We want to bless the family with help so they can continue to visit Clarke. She will need undergo more surgeries.”

Snacks, finger foods and drinks will be available for purchase at the event and themed baskets will be auctioned.

There is no admission to the event, but participants may purchase “as many bingo cards as they can handle” for each game. Prizes will be displayed prior to each game so participants can choose which prizes to play for.

For more information, call Kinney at (574) 536-7817.
