KOSCIUSKO — Kosciusko County has been under a travel watch since 5 a.m. this morning, Feb. 12, due to extremely icy conditions.

A travel watch means that conditions are threatening to the safety of the public. During a watch, only essential travel, such as to and from work or in emergency situations, is recommended, and emergency action plans should be implemented by businesses, schools, government agencies and other organizations.

Many schools in the area are either closed or delayed. Tippecanoe Valley, Warsaw, Warsaw Christian, Whitko and Wawasee schools are closed. Triton and WaNee Schools are on 2-hour delays. View a full list of closings and delays, here.
