BREMEN — Huge congratulations go out to the two Michiana men who were part of a project that won three Grammy awards.

Juan Carlos Alarcon of Bristol and Salvador Perez Lopez of Bremen were both IU South Bend students.

They are part of a Grammy-winning project featuring individuals protected by DACA, the Dreamers Act. It protects people brought into the U.S. illegally as children.

The album included more than 50 musicians called “American Dreamers.”
