NORTHWOOD 9TH GRADE BOYS 45, WAWASEE 41 (OT)

Wawasee rallied in the fourth quarter to force overtime, but NorthWood emerged in the fifth frame to take the freshman boys game Monday night in Syracuse.

Brady Hunsberger was huge for the visitors with 17 points, four rebounds and three assists while Caden Graham tossed in 10 points.

Landon Gause and Gavin Hunziker combined for 29 of Wawasee’s points, 12 of Hunziker’s 14 points coming in the fourth quarter and overtime.

LAKEVIEW 7TH GRADE GIRLS 28, WAWASEE 19

Joey Rastrelli led Lakeview with nine points Monday night. Leah Henderson added six points and Jael Namfukwe had five points. Wawasee did not report its stats.

LAKEVIEW 8TH GRADE GIRLS 33, WAWASEE 10

Leading the way for the Tigers was Lauren Grose with 12 points while Macy Wayne and Kenzie Atkins combined for 11 points points. Wawasee did not report its stats.

EDGEWOOD 7TH GRADE GIRLS 22, NORTHWOOD 15

Edgewood held off NorthWood despite Joselyn Edwards’ eight points to lead the Panthers. Ava Wetzel got Edgewood going with 13 points and six rebounds. Daleney Vilamaa filled the stat sheet with three points, six steals, three rebounds and three assists. Abby Kohler added four points, nine rebounds and two assists.
