LaMar E. ‘Butch’ Huber — UPDATED
LaMar E. “Butch” Huber, 76, Syracuse, passed away at 12:54 a.m. on Feb. 1, 2019, at Goshen Hospital. He was born on Aug. 11, 1942, in Goshen, to Edwin D. and Alice Louise (Ritter) Huber.
He grew up in Syracuse and graduated in 1960 from Syracuse High School. He was a carpenter & a self-employed construction contractor most of his life. He lived in Milford, Nappanee, Marshall, Mich. and Arizona before returning to Syracuse.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Goshen and formerly attended the Milford 1st Brethren Church.
He is survived by three daughters: Pebbles Unsicker, Bremen; Angela Salazar, Nappanee; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters: Sandra Bartels, Cinda Clayton, both of Syracuse.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter: Leah Huber, and son: Kim Huber.
No services are planned. Private burial will take place in the Syracuse Cemetery. Owen Family Funeral Home 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
