AKRON – The Three Rivers Conference girls basketball game between host Tippecanoe Valley and Peru has been postponed.

Peru did not have school Tuesday, shifting the game to tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 16, with a 6:15 p.m. JV start with the varsity to follow.

Valley also plays a rescheduled game Thursday, Jan. 17, at home against Rochester, the game shifted from last weekend’s snow cancellation. That game will also have a 6:15 p.m. JV tip with the varsity to follow.

Peru comes into the game 7-10 overall and 2-5 in the TRC. The Tigers last played last Wednesday against Manchester in a 51-46 loss. Valley, which went undefeated at 7-0 in the month of December, has lost two straight, most recently a 63-48 decision against NorthWood at home last Tuesday.

Valley (12-5, 4-1 TRC) currently sits third in the TRC standings, trailing Northfield (6-1) and Manchester (5-1) with two weeks to play. Valley visits Southwood Saturday and closes at home Jan. 24 against Manchester in the TRC chase.
