MENTONE — Bobby Adams was named the 2018 Mentone Fireman of the Year during the annual Mentone Fire Department Christmas dinner Tuesday, Dec. 11. Adams was selected for the honor by all the members of the department.

The annual event was attended by 150 firefighters, families, friends and trustees. A special guest was Santa who handed out toys to the youngsters attending.

The evening also included a dinner and various awards presented to local firefighters.
