WARSAW — The Warsaw Police Department has received approval to hire Lucas P. Vander Hart as a probationary patrol officer.

Vander Hart is a Michigan native who graduated from Heritage Christian Academy in Kalamazoo. He graduated from Grace College in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and a minor in business  Prior to being hired as a probationary patrol officer by Warsaw Police Department, Vander Hart worked as a parking enforcement officer for the department.    

Vander Hart’s hire date will be Dec. 16, 2018.  He is replacing a vacated position.
