Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

10:08 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, South SR 15, near West CR 200S, Warsaw. Drivers: Ellis W. Hall, 22, West Old 24, Wabash; and Gregorio Gonzalez-Castillo, 47, Kennedy Court 204, Oakland Park, Ill. Hall was traveling north on SR 15 when he rear-ended Gonzalez-Castillo’s vehicle. Gonzalez-Castillo said he was going to be getting checked out at a local hospital and that two passengers in his vehicle, Johnny Gonzalez, 15, North Manchester, and Diego Gonsalez, 10, North Manchester, would be getting checked out for back, neck and head pain as a result of the accident. Damage up to $10,000.

Milford

Officers with the Milford Police Department investigated the following accident:

11:03 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3, South Main Street, north of East First Street, Milford. Driver: Adam R. Allen, 19, West Section Street, Milford. Allen’s vehicle struck a parked vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

6:38 pm. Monday, Dec. 3, East Market Street, Warsaw. A parked, unoccupied vehicle was struck while parked in the Dollar General Store parking lot. Damage up to $2,500.

6:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3, West CR 250N, west of North Rainbow Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Cinthia L. Centeno-Jimenez, 31, West CR 250S 54, Warsaw. Centeno-Jimenez was traveling east on East CR 250N when a deer entered the roadway. Centeno-Jimenez’s vehicle struck the deer. Damage up to $2,500.

5:56 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, West CR 350N, west of North CR 150W, Warsaw. Driver: Kylee M. Gudeman, 19, West CR 400N, Warsaw. A deer ran into the roadway and struck Gudeman’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500. 

Winona Lake

Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accidents:

6:48 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, Wooster Road, east of CR 250E, Winona Lake. Driver: Blanche C. Lindemuth, 86, East Wooster Road, Warsaw. Lindemuth was reportedly traveling eastbound on Wooster Road when her vehicle exited the roadway and went into the yard of 2738 E. Wooster Road and struck a large rock. Lindemuth complained of chest pain and soreness to her arm but refused EMS. She was transported to Parkview Hospital by a friend. Lindemuth advised that prior to going off the roadway, the lights around her appeared blurry. Property owner Larry Long was contacted regarding the damage to his front yard. Damage up to $10,000. 

3:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, Wooster Road, west of McClain Drive, Winona Lake. Drivers: Andrew D. Etner, 35, Sunset Drive, Winona Lake; and Anastasia R. Fritz, 40, Pope Street, Winona Lake. Etner’s vehicle rear-ended Fritz’s vehicle. Damage up to $25,000. 

10:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, US 30, west of CR 450E, Warsaw. Driver: Kevin E. King, 60, North CR 400W, Columbia City. King’s vehicle struck a deer. Damage up to $5,000. 

6:21 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, East Market Street, north of Argonne Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Lydia R. Scott, 19, North SR 9, Columbia City; and Victoria J. Hunter, 23, North Biscayne Lane, Cromwell. Scott’s vehicle rear-ended Hunter’s vehicle. A passenger in Hunter’s vehicle, Cassie M. Brinegar, 20, South Dixie Drive, North Webster, was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital by EMS for complaint of neck pain. Damage up to $5,000. 

6:18 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, US 30 and Center Street, Winona Lake. Drivers: Carlos G. Brito, 23, Wooster Road, Pierceton; William M. Parrilli, 53, North CR 500E, Rolling Prairie; and Cesar L. Lopez, 39, North Hartzler Street, Warsaw. Brito was traveling westbound on US 30 when another vehicle made an unsafe change, causing Brito to come to a sudden halt to avoid a collision with that vehicle. Parrilli’s vehicle then rear-ended Brito’s vehicle,, and Lopez’s vehicle rear-ended Parrilli’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
