Julia T. (Price) Ostrander, 42, of South Bend, Ind., and formerly of North Manchester, Ind., died at 3:41 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend.

She was born Aug. 1, 1970, at Wabash, Ind., to Roger I. and Roberta C. (Tyson) Price. On June 20, 1987, she married Gerald L. “Jerry” Bowers. He died Dec. 15, 1987.

Surviving are a daughter: Maranda Sloan, Oil City, La.; six brothers: Paul D. Rogers, Greenfield, Ind.; Michael Price, Iowa; Pat Price, Liberty Mills, Ind.; Danny Joe Price, Speicherville, Ind.; Andy Price, Kansas; and Thomas Price, California; three sisters: Debra L. Giddens, Liberty Mills; E. Renee Harshman, Chili, Ind.; and Theresa Smith, North Manchester.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers:

Friends and family may call from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, in Congregational Christian Church, 310 N. Walnut St., North Manchester. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. March 5, in the church. Pastor J.P. Freeman will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Eel River Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery, Silver Lake, Ind.
