Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
11:09 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, SR 13, south of Syracuse Webster Road, North Webster. Driver: William Mccarthy, 21, EMS D4 Lane, Syracuse. Mccarthy’s vehicle struck a deer in the roadway. Damages up to $5,000.
Milford
Officers with the Milford Police Department investigated the following accident:
6:28 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, SR 15, south of CR 1150N, Milford. Drivers: John Ray, 56, Tamiami Trail, Ft. Myers, Fla.; and Steffen Homme, 55, Rivercrest Drive, Warsaw. Ray was pulling his vehicle out onto SR 15 when his trailer hitch let loose. The trailer landed in the travel portion of the roadway and was struck by Homme’s vehicle. Damages up to $50,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
4:20 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, Winona Avenue, east of Austin Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Larry Rock, 56, Blackford Drive, Tippecanoe. Rock’s vehicle struck a deer in the roadway. Damages up to $25,000.
7:05 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, Lake and Main streets, Warsaw. Drivers: Christine Wysong, 20, Highland Drive, Goshen; and Jordan Fox, 25, Jones Street, Wellington, Ohio. Wysong told police she did not realize the traffic light was red and proceeded into the intersection, into Fox’s lane of travel. Fox’s vehicle struck Wysong’s vehicle. Damages up to $2,500.
2:39 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, Parker Street and US 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Lex Desenberg, 18, CR 325E, Warsaw; and Claire Mccullough, 32, CR 200N, Warsaw. While waiting at a traffic light, Desenberg’s vehicle rear-ended Mccullough’s vehicle. Damages up to $10,000.
