Nancy Sue Woods, 78, South Whitley, passed away at 3:30 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018, in her residence. She was born July 23, 1940, in Hite, Ky. to Lacy and Pauline (Shepherd) Dingus.

She  was formerly employed by Sun Metal of Warsaw, Peabody ABC on North Manchester and Chamberlin Products of South Whitley.

Survivors include daughters Joetta (Joe) Jenkins of South Whitley; and Glenna (Pete) Castillo of Pierceton; sisters: Pat Minnix of Pierceton; Hester Dingus and Willa Fay Dingus, both of Pierceton; brothers Danny Dingus of South Whitley; and Mitchell Dingus of New Concord, Ohio; grandchildren Gerin Brumbaugh of South Whitley; Kelly Rockebaugh of Albion; Christian Castillo of Warsaw; and Connor and Chase Castillo of Pierceton; and one great granddaughter. She was preceded by siblings Juanita Howard, Bill Howard, James Dingus, Bruce Dingus and Phillip Dingus.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 14, in Booneville Cemetery, Whitley County with Chaplain Bob Jarboe officiating. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton is entrusted with services.
