Martha B. Girard, 91, Grace Village, Winona Lake, passed away at 1:50 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2018, in Winona Lake. She was born Aug. 21, 1927, in Fort Wayne, to Forrest and Naomi (Foote) Beck.

A Warsaw area resident since 1957, she was united in marriage to James E. Girard on July 2, 1949, in Albion. She was formerly employed by Warsaw Community Schools in the administrative office, Little Crow Milling and as med tech for local physicians offices. In addition, she was a member of Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her sons Richard (Sharon) Girard of Fort Wayne; Robert (Cathy) Girard of Elkhart; a sister Nancy Cole of Fort Wayne; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband, March 7, 2004.

Calling hours are scheduled from 1-4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 4, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 5, in the Funeral Chapel with Pastor Andrew Morton. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Albion, IN.
