WARSAW — A Warsaw man has been charged with child seduction after a female under the age of 18 told police he had a sexual relationship with her.

Matthew Robert Thomas, 36, 1072 E. Wellington Drive, Warsaw, is being charged with child seduction, a level 6 felony.
On Sept. 27, an officer with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department spoke with a therapist with Physiological and Family Consultants in Elkhart. A forensic interviewer also spoke with the female.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, Thomas engaged in sexual intercourse with her on several occasions. The incidents occurred at Thomas’ residence.
Thomas was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on Oct. 30. His original bond was set at $50,250 surety and cash, but a bond reduction motion was granted for a $5,250 surety and cash bond.
