KOSCIUSKO — The fourth annual “Build a Home-Run and Walk” 5k benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Kosciusko County had its best fundraising year yet.
$4,690 was raised with the help of a record-breaking 23 sponsors and 50 runners/walkers. The family-friendly event was held on Saturday, Sept. 29, at the Trails of Winona Lake. The check was presented to Mickey Kaufman, executive director, Habitat for Humanity of Kosciusko County at KBOR’s fourth quarter genera business meeting on Oct. 17.
The Kosciusko Board of Realtors membership shares the same vision as Habitat for Humanity. This positive partnership helps to make an impact in communities, which leads to stable home occupancy by providing safe, affordable housing in Kosciusko County.
