Chane Richard Funnell of Warsaw, passed away at 10:35 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018, at Millers’ Merry Manor of Warsaw at the age of 76.

He was born on February 2, 1942, in Warsaw to Howard Kenneth Funnell and Doiles E. (Rookstool) Funnell. 

Funnell was a lifetime area resident and a 1960 graduate of Warsaw High School. He was a grain farmer and worked at a number of businesses in Kosciusko County. Lastly, he worked at Dennis Polk Equipment in Leesburg.  

He will be lovingly remembered by his companion, Dee Gaylord, Warsaw; two sons Clint Funnell, Kentucky and Jack Funnell, Pierceton; two daughters Angie Reid, Fort Wayne, and Bev (Randy) Weaver, Shelbyville; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson.

A private graveside service will be held at their family plot at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.  Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
