Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

12:15 pm. Sunday, Sept. 23, US 30, east of SR 13, Pierceton. Drivers: Nicholas A. Booher, 29, SR 32, Yorktown; and Carl N. Fuller, 58, Peddicord Avenue, Washington Court, Ohio. Booher’s vehicle rear-ended Fuller’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000. 

2:27 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, EMS B61 Lane, west of EMS B61C Lane, Warsaw. Driver: Kimberly A. Cantrell, 35, EMS B61F Lane, Warsaw. Cantrell advised that she swerved to miss a deer and lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle skidded through the yard of 213 EMS B61 Lane and rolled onto the driver side. The top of the vehicle struck the south side of a garage at 221 EMS B61 Lane, causing damage to the south exterior wall The impact with the garage caused items to fall onto another vehicle that was parked in the garage. The falling items caused damage to the passenger side rear door of that vehicle. KCSD conducted an investigation for OWI. Cantrell was later arrested for driving while intoxicated. Damage up to $5,000.
