Patricia Sue Burkholder, 75, passed away peacefully after a long battle with health issues. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a long time resident of Warsaw, after spending her early years in North Webster.
“Pat,” as she was known by most, was a woman who was small in stature, but who had a heart bigger than an Indiana sky. She was always willing to lend a hand or ear to those in need. She took great pride in her yard, which was admired by many. She loved hummingbirds, shopping, QVC, and her family.
She was a, “What you see is what you get kinda gal.” She was fiercely protective of her family, who will miss her dearly. When you remember Pat Burkholder, please remember her for her feistiness, strength and sacrifice. She was perfectly imperfect and she loved the Lord.
Her children Rhonda (Terry) Doberstein, Travis Walls, Michael Walls, Teri Burkholder (partner Mike Burdine), Christina Allen, Shaé (Jason) Brown and Chelsea Raé Robison-Burkholder will continue her legacy. Her memories are shared with three grandchildren: Josh Geberin, Sidney Allen (Matt Brown) and Hailey Charles, and six great grandchildren: Xavier Vera, Elyce Charles, Marlee Jane Alldaffer, Christian Charles, Emberleigh Allen, Izabella Raé Robison. She is also survived by her bothers Keith and Kenneth Enyeart. She also departs from her best friend Owen Burkholder.
Her parents Whitey and Eleanor Enyeart preceded her in death. As well as Edward Enyeart and Ann Stutzman, brother and sister respectfully.
We ask that you help celebrate her life at Warsaw Community Church from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23. A memorial service will follow immediately at 3:30 p.m. at the church with Pastor Denny Wilson officiating.
Interment will be in Oakwood at a later date.
