Lois Walbridge

Lois Walbridge, 91, of Syracuse, Ind., passed away on Feb. 9, 2013, at the Kosciusko Community Hospital.

She was born on Feb. 21, 1921, in Pearl, Colo., to E.R and Luella (Jones) Haworth. On May 10, 1942, she married George E. Walbridge who preceded her in 2004.

She was a longtime resident of both Syracuse Lighthouse Point, Fla. She taught High School in Michigan for many years. She also co-owned the Smith-Walbridge Camp in Syracuse. She was a member of the St. Andrews United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son: George R. Walbridge, Syracuse; and her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son: William Walbridge; and one brother: Jerry Haworth.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at the St. Andrews United Methodist Church with Pastor Mark Eastway officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the WACF or the St. Andrews United Methodist Church.
