Mark I. Gaff, 48, Michigan City, formerly of Syracuse, passed away at 1:40 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, 2018, at Franciscan Health in Michigan City. He was born on July 31, 1970, in Columbia City, to Randall and Joanne D. (Fry) Gaff.

He graduated in 1988 from Columbia City High School and was married on Sept. 1, 1990, in Syracuse, to Tracy L. Nottingham who survives. He was formerly employed at Maple City Radiator in Goshen for 20+ years. He lived in Syracuse for many years and moved to Columbia City for 2 years before moving to Michigan City in 2016.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Katherine Gaff, Syracuse; mother, Joanne Wolff, Michigan City; brother, Jeff (Carrie) Gaff, Warsaw.

He was preceded in death by his father and a son, Joshua Gaff.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw. No services will be held at this time. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
