LIMA, Ohio – Grace’s men’s golf team kicked off the 2018 campaign with an eighth-place showing at the UNOH Invitational on Friday.

Chad Spencer impressed to start his senior season. Spencer shot a 73-69, finishing with a two-under 142 at Hidden Creek Golf Club.

Jacob Abrahamson finished second on the team in his first collegiate meet. He carded a 75-78 for a tournament total of 153.

Camden Gongwer and Caleb Leak both shot a 155 for the Lancers to finish third on the squad. Leak had a 75 in his first collegiate round of the day.

Tim Rata also had a 75 in the first round, ending the day with a 160.

The Lancers’ next tournament is on Sept. 21 at Bethel.
