Michael R. Prater, 61, Warsaw, passed away at 9:59 p.m., Monday, Aug. 20, 2018, at Mason Health & Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw. He was born on June 6, 1957, to William J. and Wilma Lou (Kindig) Prater in Germany.

He was a security guard working for numerous companies in Kosciusko County.

He is survived by his son, Stephen Prater and a sister, Cathy Prater of Warsaw. He is preceded by his parents.

There will no visitation. A private Graveside Service will take place at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

The family is requesting that memorial contribution be made to McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Ct., Warsaw, IN., 46580 for expenses.
