Habitat will be working the week of Feb. 11-15 on a critical home repair outside of Silver Lake. The work will consist of tearing off two minor additions to a house, insulating and sealing necessary areas, and re-siding three walls.

An experienced contractor will be leading the effort but Habitat for Humanity is looking for 4 to 5 volunteers a day. The owner of the house is in her late 70s and would greatly appreciate a bedroom does not leak when it rains.

Work will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday and resume each morning at the same time through Friday.
