Michael Allen Shirey, 71, Warsaw and formerly of North Webster, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2018. 

He graduated from Warsaw Community High School in1965.

He faithfully served his country and the United States Army by serving two tours of duty in Vietnam with the 25^th Infantry Division from 1966 to 1968 as Specialist 5 (T). 

He played softball for 36 years and was an avid Chicago White Sox fan.

He is predeceased by his parents, Dean and Frances Shirey, and his brother, William Dean Shirey. He is survived by his sister-in-law, and very special friend, Elizabeth Shirey. 

Interment will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 24, in Oakwood Cemetery. Military honors will be rendered by American Legion Post #49 and V.F.W. Post 1126. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is entrusted with arrangements.
