WARSAW — The Kosciusko County Highway Department headquarters is a bustling area of construction trucks, heavy equipment and workers — and many of these are not indigenous to the department’s normal day-to-day operations.

For some time now, the department has been undergoing a facelift that had an original price tag of $1.8 million.

“The building project will add a parts bay of 3,000 square feet, a wash/patch bay of 3,000 square feet and an office and administration building of 8,000 square feet,” said Kosciusko County Administrator Marsha McSherry.

McSherry said an approximate construction completion date has been forecasted for March 2019.
