Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

5:20 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, South Hand Avenue and West Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Drivers: Katherine L. Scott, 32, South Scott Road, Claypool; and Tabitha L. Gabbard, 35, West Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Scott’s vehicle rear-ended Gabbard’s vehicle.  Damage up to 2,500. 

2:44 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, Husky Trail, Warsaw. A vehicle parked in the parking lot at Menards was damaged by an unknown vehicle. Damage up to $2,500. 

5:52 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, South Buffalo Street, north of East Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Kayla P. Jones, 30, West CR 100S, Warsaw; and Juan G. Sandoval, 37, West CR 200S, Warsaw. The vehicles collided near the intersection. Sandoval was cited for operator never licensed. Damage up to $2,500. 

Winona Lake

Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:

7:58 a.m. Monday, Aug. 133, Pierceton Road, Winona Lake. Drivers: Sarah K. Chappell, 21, East CR 225S, Winona Lake; and Nolan R. Haines, 22, East Keith Street, Pierceton. Chappell was traveling east on Pierceton Road and turning north onto CR 250E. Chappell advised she did not see Haines. Chappell’s vehicle made the turn in the path of Haines’ vehicle. Haines was ejected from his vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
