Nappanee Library Will Celebrate Pop-Tart Day

NAPPANEE — The Nappanee Public Library is inviting toddlers and teens to drop in to celebrate National Pop-Tart Day on Aug. 19 from 1 to 5 p.m. During this time, participants will make a cool Pop-Tart craft, while supplies last. No registration is necessary.

Recipe Swap — Aug. 20, 7 to 8 p.m.
Exchange your favorite recipes and collect some new favorites. Each month has a theme. In August, bring a dish made with tomatoes, or try other dishes and return home with a stack of new recipes. No registration necessary.

Art In The Making — Aug. 21, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. (Ages 5-12)
Kids are invited to dress for a mess. Join the library as we create non-traditional kitchen table art. In August, participants will use nature’s paintbrushes to create fun masterpieces. Register by Aug. 14, by calling (574) 773-7919 or visit nappaneelibrary.org.

Cover To Cover Book Club — Aug. 21, 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Titles alternate between fiction and non-fiction. In August, read “Big Little Lies” by Liane Moriarty.
