Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

10:41 a.m. Friday, Aug. 10, East CR 1400N, near North Eastshore Drive, Syracuse. Drivers: Isidro Villa-Sandoval, 27, North SR 5, Cromwell; and Terry R. Coggeshall, 68, Dublin Lane, Angola. Coggeshall was preparing to turn left into a driveway across from Eastshore Drive. Villa-Sandoval did not see the turn signal and began to pass Coggeshall’s vehicle on the left. Damage up to $10,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

6:11 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, North SR 15, near West CR 350N, Warsaw. Drivers: Skyler E. Compton, 23, East Acorn Drive, Warsaw; and Lisa M. Koshnick, 59, East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Compton was traveling south on SR 15 and was approaching an intersection when he rear-ended Koshnick’s vehicle. Koshnick complained of neck pain but refused medical attention. Damage up to $10,000.

2:23 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 1135 South Zimmer Road, Warsaw. Driver: Matthew M. Kerkhoff, 25, South Bruner Road, Warsaw. Kerkhoff said he was traveling north on South Zimmer Road when he fell asleep and drove off the roadway, striking a tree. The vehicle sustained damage to the passenger side bumper, hood and fender. The location at 1135 South Zimmer Road sustained damage to a tree and landscaping bricks. Damage up to $50,000.
