WARSAW — Officers with the Warsaw Police Department responded to a report of an overturned boat at Center Lake around 10:20 a.m. Monday, Aug. 6.

A witness said a boat overturned in the lake and began sinking. The two subjects in the boat were both wearing life jackets and did not require medical attention.

After bringing the subjects to shore, officers went to the submerged boat to mark it.

Warsaw-Wayne Fire Department, Warsaw Police Department and Lutheran EMS responded to the scene.
