KOSCIUSKO — A Silver Lake man was recently arrested for battering two females while a child was present.

Jeffrey Carroll Henderson, 30, 106 W. Wells St., Silver Lake, is being charged with two counts of domestic battery with a child present, level 6 felonies, and two counts of domestic battery, class A misdemeanors.

On May 15, an officer with the Silver Lake Police Department responded to a domestic battery. One of the female victims stated that there was an argument in the house. She advised that Henderson pushed her down and then threw the other female to the ground twice. The other female victim’s story matched.

While the incident occurred a child was in the room and could see Henderson batter the two females.

Henderson was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on July 20, with a $6,000 surety and cash bond.
