*UPDATE: The tornado warning has been cancelled.*

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — A Tornado Warning has been issued until 3:15 p.m. for southeastern Kosciusko County.

At 2:36 p.m., a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near North Manchester, moving east at 35 mph.

This dangerous storm will be near South Whitley around 3 p.m. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Liberty Mills, Collamer, Sidney, Packerton and Larwill.

Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes may be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur.

The National Weather Service advises everyone in the area to take cover now and move to a basement or an interior room in a house’s lowest level. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.
