KOSCIUSKO — A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued until 2:45 p.m. EST for Kosciusko County.

At 1:56 p.m., severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Bourbon to Mentone, moving east at 35 mph.

Locations impacted include Warsaw, Winona Lake, North Webster, Pierceton, Mentone, Etna Green, Leesburg, Claypool, Burket, Hoffman Lake and Atwood.

Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. For your protection, move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
