WARSAW — Texas Roadhouse has reached a new step towards becoming Warsaw’s next chain restaurant. The Warsaw Building and Planning Department has approved and issued the building permit, which was received in May.

Both Warsaw’s building commissioner and fire marshal reviewed and approved the plans. Residents should expect to see construction at the building site soon.

Ink Free News received a copy of the proposed floor plan, which is pictured above. The building has similar square footage as the Warsaw Applebee’s and can seat 281 people at a time.  The restaurant will be located at 540 West CR 300N. This location is off of SR 15, near the area of Kohl’s.

Texas Roadhouse’s plan for adding a restaurant in Warsaw was announced in February. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the location would open for business in March 2019.

There are three jobs listed online for the future Warsaw location. Warsaw will be the 27th Texas Roadhouse in Indiana. Indiana is the restaurant’s third most popular state.
