When there is no school Feb. 11, children are invited to the children’s department at Syracuse Public Library to make a Valentine gift. Make-it, Take-it Crafts is a drop-in event from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friendly help is provided along with the projects.

Kidz Book Club
Kidz Book Club meets Tuesday, Feb. 12, for a Valentine fun time. Children who are reading books on their own are invited to come hear guest reader Ken Lucas, have a special snack and make a Valentine craft. Kidz Book Club meets from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the meeting room.

Book Discussion
Adults are invited to drink coffee and discuss “The Other Boleyn Girl” by Phillippa Gregory. Visit the group at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, to see what topics of discussion this book inspires.

Downton Abbey Is A Popular Prize
Madison Miller is the winner of the Winter Reading Drawing. Miller won the DVDs for all three seasons along with a coffee table book about Downton Abbey.

Season three of Downton Abbey has just started and anyone interested in viewing season one or two is encouraged to place a hold for the DVD sets.
