Claypool

Officers with the Claypool Police Department investigated the following accident:

2:19 p.m. Friday, July 6, West CR 900S and South CR 1000W, Silver Lake. Drivers: William Carter, 53, Douglas Road, Mishawaka; and Stephen England, 29, CR 600S, Mentone. Carter had a stop sign and failed to yield to England’s vehicle. Carter drove his vehicle into England’s lane of travel and the two collided. Damages up to $25,000.

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

5:46 a.m. Saturday, July 7, Goodman Street, south of Union Street, Warsaw. Driver: Amy Yoder, 32, Eisenhower Parkway, Warsaw. Yoder’s vehicle struck a deer in the roadway. Damages up to $2,500.
