Billy F. “Fred” Rose, 59, Warsaw, passed away at 9:10 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. at Center for Hospice House in Elkhart. He was born on May 2, 1959, in Mansfield, Ohio to Billy and Angelina (Rose) Rose.

He attended Mansfield Senior High School in Mansfield, Ohio and moved to Kosciusko County in 1979 from Mansfield. He was married on Dec. 22, 1985, in South Whitley to Braska K. Wallen, who survives. He was formerly employed at Warsaw Chemical for 32 years and at Dalton Foundries in Warsaw.

He was drag racer at Bunker Hill Dragstrip and Osceola Dragway and an avid NASCAR fan.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Billy Rose, Mansfield; three grandchildren: Dylan and Carlee Rose, both of Warsaw; and Alexea Rose, Elkhart; brother: Jerry (Vickie) Rose, Mansfield; two sisters: Ann (Clyde) Morris and Bonnie Oakley, both of Mansfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Garry Rose.

No public services to be held at this time. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw.
