SOUTH BEND — Thursday is your chance to take a ride on a Word War II landing craft.

South Bend Venues Parks and Arts is partnering with Lest We Forget of Southwest Michigan to host the event.

It’s happening Thursday and Friday from 10 to 4 at the Governor Joe Kernan Park boat dock located at Northside Boulevard in South Bend.

There is a $10 fee for adults and $5 for children.

This event is for ages 5 and up.

Registration isn’t required.
