Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued For Northeastern Kosciusko County

KOSCIUSKO  — The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for northeastern Kosciusko County. The warning also includes southeastern Elkhart County, northwestern Noble County and southwestern Lagrange County.

The warning will remain in effect until 4 p.m. today, Tuesday, June 19. At 3:18 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located over Syracuse, moving southeast at 15 mph.

Hazards include 60 mph wind gusts. Expect damage to roofs, siding and trees.

Locations impacted include Goshen, Ligonier, Syracuse, Albion, Milford, Rome City, Topeka, North Webster, Millersburg, New Paris, Benton, Cromwell, Brimfield, Big Barbee Lake, Ridinger Lake, Irish Lake, Lake Wawasee, Bear Lake, Oswego and Wilmot.
