Taylor Aaron Julian

Taylor Aaron Julian, 27, 2307 West CR 800S, Claypool, is being charged with theft, a class A misdemeanor, and theft with a sentence enhancement, a level 6 felony.

On May 8, an officer with the Warsaw Police Department responded to a theft from a Selge Construction site. The project manager advised that two large steel support pipes were stolen from the construction site and had been located at Lewis Salvage Company, Warsaw.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, the project manager was able to provide a description of a suspicious person that was caught at the construction site.

An employee of Lewis Salvage advised that the business had bought two steel items from Julian on May 7. Julian was paid $61.20 for the items. A photograph of Julian, which was taken during the transaction, was provided to the officer. The photo was compared to Julian’s past booking photo, Facebook photos and his driver’s license photo to confirm it was the same person.

Julian was previously convicted of theft on March 3, 2017, in Kosciusko County.

Julian was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on June 18, with a $5,750 surety and cash bond.
