ANDERSON – Addy Miller had a double-double to lead area players competing at the Indiana Basketball All-Star Classic Friday night.

Miller, a Tippecanoe Valley High School graduate, scored 12 points and added 10 rebounds and a pair of assists for good measure as her Senior Red Team lost to the Senior White Team, 82-79, in the all-star showcase games hosted by Kent Benson.

The night saw four games featuring senior boys and girls, as well as underclassmen boys and girls contests from around the state of Indiana.

The Senior Boys Red team beat the White team 93-70, led by South Bend Washington’s Cory McKinney with 22 points and six rebounds.

The Future Girls Red team beat the White team 86-79 and the Future Boys Red beat the White 77-69.

Saturday’s pair of tilts saw the Junior Girls White team defeat the Red team 73-62. Kenzie Bergman of NorthWood figured into the win with three points, four boards and an assist. The second game saw the Red defeat the White 61-56. Northridge’s Morgan Litwiller tallied 11 points and five points in the win.

Tippecanoe Valley’s Sophie Bussard was among those listed on the Junior rosters for the games, but did not appear in the final results.

The games are sponsored by former Indiana University great Kent Benson, who has mixed the exposure games with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes to provide a well-rounded basketball and spiritual atmosphere.
