
MARSHFIELD, WISC. — A Wisconsin woman has been donating blood since World War II.
Floreine Kurtzweil donated for the 41st time at the Blood Center of Wisconsin Friday, just a day before her 97th birthday.
The retired secretary, who came back home to central Wisconsin to care for her father three decades ago, is the Blood Center’s oldest donor by far out of about 90,000 statewide.
