AKRON — The Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation is accepting applications for non-resident students who would like to attend any TVSC schoo during the 2018-2019 school year. A non-resident transfer student is one whose legal settlement is not within the boundaries of the Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation.

Valley schools include Akron Elementary School, Mentone Elementary School, Tippecanoe Valley Middle School or Tippecanoe Valley High School.

The offer includes full-day kindergarten classes at Akron Elementary School and Mentone Elementary School and the alternative education program at the Burket Educational Center. The cost of transfer tuition is waived for all approved non-resident transfer students.

A non-resident student transfer application may be obtained from the Tippecanoe Valley website at www.tippecanoevalleyschools.com. One the website, click on Easy Enrollment in the middle of the page, then scroll down to Non-Resident Application.

Applications are to be submitted to the TVSC Administration Office.

Registration dates for the 2018-2019 school year:

• Monday, July 23 — 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Tuesday, July 24 — 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Translators will be present at each school on this day to assist with language translation needs.
• Wednesday, July 25 — 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Thursday, July 26 — 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Friday, July 27 — 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Online Registration for new and returning students opens July 1.
