Severe Thunderstorm Near Akron, Headed To North Manchester

AKRON — The National Weather Service has announced that At 2:41 p.m. today, May 31, a severe thunderstorm was located near Akron, or eight miles west of North Manchester, moving east at 25 mph.
The storm includes 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
The NWS advises residents in the path of this storm to take shelter inside a sturdy building. A shed or structure in an open area is more likely to be hit by lightning.
