Officers with the Claypool Police Department investigated the following accident:

1:14 p.m. Friday, May 25, North SR 15, north of CR 350N. Driver: Travis S. Klenke, 36, East Sunset Drive, Syracuse. Klenke was traveling north on SR 15 when he noticed that a vehicle made an abrupt stop to turn into a driveway. Klenke’s vehicle slid off the roadway into a ditch that was full of large rocks and sand. Damage under $750.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

1:14 p.m. Sunday, May 27, 3356 Lake City Highway. Drivers: Andrew S. Eberly, 40, North CR 400W, Milford; and April R. Goodman, 43, East CR 200N 189, Warsaw. Eberly’s vehicle was behind Goodman’s vehicle in a Wendy’s drive-thru when his foot slipped off the brake pedal, causing him to rear-end Goodman’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

5:20 p.m. Friday, May 25, East Center Street, east of South Wood Street. Drivers: Connie M. Powell, 63, South Etna Street 42, Etna Green; and Lindsey M. True, 22, South County Road 200 W., Danville. Powell was driving on East Center Street when traffic suddenly stopped, causing her to strike the rear center of True’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

10:29 a.m. Friday, May 25, 2112 Heron Blvd. Driver: unknown. A vehicle struck a parked and unoccupied vehicle and left the scene. Damage up to $1,000.
