Clara Belle Hartman, 91, Warsaw, died 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at Warsaw Meadows Care Center.

She was born in New Paris on Nov. 16, 1926, to Andrew & Stella (Brady) Welty. She married Robert E. Hartman on Feb. 27, 1960, in Goshen and he died June 1, 2017.

Surviving are sons: Dan (Cindy) Hartman, Montana; Brian (Miriam) Hartman, Wakarusa; Keith Hartman, Nappanee; grandchildren: Kelly Hartman, Montana; Cassie (Kevin) Ball, Ohio; and a sister, Ethel Elliott, New Paris.

Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, Robert, sisters, Jane and Mae and brothers, Andrew, Jake and “Buddy” Willard.

Clara Belle was a homemaker and enjoyed reading. She was a member of the Nappanee Church of the Brethren.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 25, at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen, and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. service on Saturday, May 26, at the Nappanee Church of the Brethren, 301 Mack Dr., Nappanee. Pastor Bryl Shaver will officiate. Burial will follow at New Paris Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be directed to the Alzheimer’s and Dementia Services of Northern Indiana.
