LeESBURG — A semitractor-trailer stuck on the tracks in Leesburg was struck by a southbound Norfolk Southern train at approximately 7:30 a.m. today.

The mishap occurred at the crossing on the north edge of Leesburg at Old SR 15/ Van Buren Street and Harper Road.

Authorities have closed Old SR 15 northbound from Armstrong Road.
