SYRACUSE — The Wawasee High School Art Department is hosting its 50th annual Art Show from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 18, in the main gym of the high school.

Student artwork from this school year will be showcased, the best of show will be unveiled and the high school art careers of the seniors will be celebrated. The Friday evening reception will feature live music and hors d’oeuvres provided by WHS students.

Also to be displayed is a recently-acquired full-sized copy of Michelangelo’s “David,” and the latest round of student designed and printed shirts available for purchase.
