Rodney “Hot Rod” Scott Godfrey, 54, Ligonier, lost his battle with cancer May 14, 2018, at the Avalon Village Nursing Home in Ligonier. He was born Oct. 15, 1963 in Goshen to John L and Mary Ann (Brock) Myer.

The family has honored his request for no formal services. A cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center. A Celebration of Rodney’s life will take place on Saturday, May 26, beginning at 3 p.m. at the residence of Lonnie Godfrey – 385 South 375 West Kimmell, IN 46760.
