Janet “Jan” Weaver, 81, North Webster, passed away at 6:42 a.m. on Friday, May 11, 2018, at her home. She was born on July 18, 1936, in Tipton, CA to John and Carolina (Manning) MacMillan.

She graduated from Tulare Union High School in California and attended the College of the Sequoias. She was married on March 10, 1956 in Bakersfield, Calif. to Alex James “Jim” Weaver who survives and was a homemaker. She moved to North Webster in 1998 from Salinas, Calif.

She was a member of the North Webster American Legion Auxiliary Post 253.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Weaver, North Webster; a daughter: Jennifer Weaver, Warsaw; four grandchildren and one great grandson; three sisters: Joan (Richard) Miller, Tulare, Calif.; Gloria MacMillan, Calif.; Phyllis Buie, Ore.; two brothers: Donald (Jeanette) MacMillan and Butch MacMillan, Tipton, Calif.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two sons: Jeff and James Weaver, and sister, Mae McMillan.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw. No public services will be held. Owen Family Funeral Home, SR 13 and CR 500N, North Webster is in charge of arrangements.
